This research study used a device to gently stimulate the inner ear canal with warmth and it improved symptoms in Parkinson’s patients from ability to do daily activity, to memory, to mood.  The device can be used at home and it delivers warmth to one ear, and cold to the other. Patients use it twice per day and the probes are reversed every other day.  Interestingly, the device was developed to help migraine patient.
